12.00 | SHORT FILM PROGRAM | African Shorts

The African Shorts programme brings forth stories of LGBTIQ individuals within an African context. What does it mean to live in a society where you are ostracized because of your gender expression or sexual orientation? Struggles with family relations and belonging also come into play.

The short film screening is followed by an after talk with Lindsay Louis, the South African Embassy Cultural Attaché. The talk is moderated by Shayne McCreadie.
