Passionate about queer cinema and the Middle East, he co-created the journalistic film Germany’s Palestine Problem, which won the WAN-IFRA Middle East Award for “Best Use of Video” in 2023.

He also fronted Jonzo, an irreverent, queer-focused interview web show.
Having collaborated with IQMFF over the years, it truly feels like a full circle moment to be asked to serve as a juror this year. Their commitment to uplifting underrepresented voices and championing authentic diverse storytelling is something truly special. I’m honoured to be part of it
